Well, don't enter there, haven't heard sony is so broken they can't cut the price. |
I didn't say it was going to happen right now. I don't expect a cut before 2017.

Speaking of which, do you think China will make that much difference? I'm inclined to think 'no' but the lauch could give January a nice leg up going into Feb and March.

They'll have to cut it to fight Halo 5
I guess it could be temporary like this year's XB1 though..

After the initial launch, not much. I think the sales there could be compared as those in France for example.

Maybe but I've got to be honest and say I'm not particularly optomistic about the effect China will have on sales and ANY consoles, although the PS4 being regiion free does give me reason to consider a 'possible' surprise in sales.

Having read the comments on X1 Chinese articles and video game forums, the two major complaints from the Chinese consumer were price and region locking. The PS4 will be less expensive and region free, giving it a big leg up over the X1. It will definitely enjoy a much better launch. Whether it'll have longevity in the Chinese market, I don't know. However, considering that the PS4 has exceeded our expectations several times, it is a possibility.

My mistake. I was thinking there was a price drop for the console, was just deals before and over the holidays. The prices seem to be normal now.
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

He was talking about PS4 already been making profit on HW even on the first year on market (first time for Sony), so your reply is off place.
