Forums - Nintendo - If Nintendo went Third-Party, what games would you buy from them?

Considering how many people want Nintendo to go third-party, I think it's fair to ask what Nintendo can expect from them when they do so. And, for those who want Nintendo to stay first-party, join in as well.

This is assuming Nintendo continues to produce titles that are the same quality as when they are first-party, even after the shift from PowerPC to x64.

Edit: I know this is a very late edit, but as can be seen from the title, I meant an "if" to take the place of "when."

Probably the exact same games I have been buying from them since forever loll.  Like Mario, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Zelda, Metroid, etc. Gawd, MK8 at 4k 60fps! Fap Fap Fap! If Nintendo wants to go third party, they should be PC exclusive no doubt!

What? Thats a bad business move? Well going third party is a bad business move anyway so it don't matter!

The same games I would've bought on their console. Just with the added great feeling that I'm payling the definitive version.

Good that I never play online like the peasants who are reliant on 3rd parties to have fun.

I don't really understand the idea some people have that Nintendo quality would plummet simply by going third-party. Seems like such a lack of confidence.

Anyway, I'd likely check out any new Zelda, though I wouldn't consider it an 'automatic buy' after Skyward Sword. Metroid possibly, Starfox possibly. I've never played Pikmin but it looks interesting.

Big fat 'maybe' on the Xeno stuff, as the videos I've seen of the combat do nothing for me at all.

Fire Emblem is the only 'definitely' I can think of.

Honestly, I can take or leave Nintendo games, for the most part. It's fine with me if they go third-party and it's fine if they don't. I do hope to get a cheap 3DS for Fire Emblem eventually.

I have no interest in any Nintendo games, just not my cup of tea. They should not go third party, though. I don't think the game quality would suffer, but they would lose that sense of community and cammaradery which unifies Nintendo fans.

Then all Nintendo high quality games will turn into like sonic games. I dont want broken games. I want polished games.

I would buy most of them cause Nintendo games are the best.
