psn is working for me too now. I'm too tired now, should have checked earlier. I was playing Diablo 3 but that never seems to end.

I never saw him criticize Microsoft. Just show that he was in the minority when it comes to getting online. His post had nothing to do with my point though. Ruler was saying that noone could play online. I proved him wrong. Simple as that. 

I'm sure you could find multiple articles saying Xbox Live is online while PSN is down.

Of course, you're a guy. 90% of the users using a female avatar are guys. I was implying that you were having an airhead/blonde moment with my comment about your hair. It was about your conversation with Fusioncode. It had nothing to do with ruler.

Well, while using the cloud, or any distributed system, the network and its services are surely robust, they can resist to many low-level, down to HW itself, failures, the proprietary network creates a higher level hierarchy, so heavily attacking even just one, but essential level of the hierarchy, the whole network can be taken down. Moreover they are exclusive, creating an even higher hierarchy, not inside the network, but putting the proprietary network above any other: if someone attacks Activision or EA or whatever else servers and networks, a PC gamer can still play every other unattacked games (even games of the attacked publishers if there are unofficial servers too for them), while on consoles, taking down the console proprietary network every online feature for them is shut down.

MS support for PC not down, but currently very congested. It took me ages to download and install a 190kB update and for half an hour I couldn't consult the info web page for that update, service was unavailabe.

I still can't even log into PSN on my PS4!!

Its probably for the best though because I hear downloading is taking forever and I have tons of things to download.

Just played 6 rounds of For Glory Smash Bros. Did pretty well, too. Must be all the Christmas newbies.

Seriously, though, i didn't think Lizard Squad would be able to pull it off on one network, let alone two of them.

I've been able to get into PSN whenever I've tried yesterday and Today, on PS3 in the UK. I know these people are doing what they can to be utter dicks and the MS and Sony people are doing all they can to stop them.
