I actually really enjoy this franchise. Played the first one as a demo back in my 360 days which led me to purchasing it on PS3 later on; Once Darksiders 2 was announced I actually went and preordered which is very unusual for me. Love the story, the lore, I have a perverse fascination with religion and the various takes on creation, and the gameplay itself is fleshed out well. Highly recommend you WiiU owners to take advantage of it, you get a LOT of content for $8 even without the DLC (:

It's a mediocre port of an ok game (I think all versions were plagued by bugs). I enjoyed about half of it then started to feel it was getting very samey with no real plot to encourage me to keep going. So I moved on to other games. To be fair it's a much longer game than, for example, Bayonetta 2 and I got sufficient fun from it.

Not a bad game. It was 10$ a few weeks ago so I bought it. Kinda generic but, its fun no less.

I'd say that it's worth getting Darksiders 2 for $8! It's a pretty decent game..

Great game, although not the most polished but looks great, nice lore/story, decent puzzles, large open worlds.

Highly recommended for action adventure fans
