I still won't buy from the eShop, since Nintendo have yet to catch up to industry standards on "ownership." I got screwed when my Wii died. They've taken a few steps in the right direction, yet still appear incompetent overall.

I'm always on the fence about it. Everyone says it's a lot like Zelda, but every time I buy a game that everyone likes without playing it myself I end up not caring about it very much. I guess I've got really particular tastes.
