.........what just happened? Did I forget something...?

The future I'm imagining is one where you have access to all of your cable tv features (DVR, on demand, ect) on every tv in the house without having to deal with or pay for any hardware at all.  For example, if a house has 5 tv's, it would cost an extra $40 a month in order to have all of them hooked up with even basic Comcast cable boxes, rather than just having a box on the main tv. That $40 alone will probably be something like 2/3rds the cost of PSVue.

List their gaming heritage.  I'm going to stop here though because I have a feeling you're just deliberately not getting it ... Or you don't want to.

I now see why you dont get the basic behind ps now and the future of gaming.  

Well I guess this is something that most people know more of than me. I dont see this as an absolute instant success. I dont see why the service being on multiple devices will make consoles obsolete. I dont see why non gamers would start with PS3 games. The more casual games on PC and IOS devices doesnt seem to "create" core gamers.

Also your internet connection needs to be pretty good in order to stream these games. Kinda like what people were angry at MS for having their console always online. The games also seem to be expensive. Netflix cost like 8 bucks a month and you get to choose between thousands of movies...

Im not trying to play devils advocate here. I just dont see it...

I usually get metaphors. Guess yours were to deep for me...

PSNow has three major things other services never had.

1. A large, significant library of games. PSNow is still in open beta form and has over 150 games and the list is growing all the time. This list includes games like, Mass Effect 2, Killzone 3, Dead Space 3, Infamous 1 and 2, Saints Row 4, ect.

2. The name and backing of the largest video game brand in the world. Nobody knew who Onlive was, nobody cared. This is a Playstation service.

3. PSNow works. Onlive was terrible. Lag was significant and games crashed fairly often. PSNow has none of those issues.

Though this won't kill consoles, being able to play PS3 games on a tv isn't as good as being able to play PS4 games, even if you have to do it on a PS4. For me, the real chance for major success here is Playstation Vue. Not everybody games, everybody watches TV.

4. PSNow was originally a browser based technology and they could get a game up and running in a day, whilst Onlive had to configure every single game to work on their service.

Ok it works, has a large game library and is made by Sony. Those are facts.

It will be a success, is the future of gaming and will make people buy a Playstation. Those are not facts.

Does that sound right...?

Exactly where did that spring from and of what relevance is it to PSNow?
