Another reason you might want to consider not getting Meteoid...
I'm pretty at some point Metroid Zero Mission will be put on the eShop...
It's a remake of the original Metroid that, from what I hear, is better than the original in every way...

I know Metroid like the back of my hand but if you have to choose, go for Kirby. While I think Dreamland 3 is a pretty flawed game, Metroid is a difficult and confusing game and it has quite a few annoying issues. If you don't have the patience to deal with that, then go for Dreamland 3.

Ya, go for Kirby. Metroid isn't very beginner friendly and hasn't aged as well as Kirby

It's not a straight remake.  That being said, Zero Mission has the original Metroid as an unlockable.  Win/win!

The first Metroid is virtually unplayable in this world post-Super Metroid.
Haven't played Dream Land 3, but if it's like Dream Land 2 or Kirby's Adventure, it's a good game. Nothing special, but decent. I'd get it.

Wait for Duck Hunt, you can shoot with the Wiimote.

Dream Land 3, because the first Metroid game is just not that much fun! :/
