This is impossible. Especially with the steady lineup of games for PS4 in 2015. Europe in not the U.S. so you can't compare the two. Europe will always belong to Playstation. Just look at this weeks numbers.

This doesn't surprise anybody, since this is the same routine each Black Friday for Microsoft. This has been going on for almost ten years...there is nothing new under the sun.

I'm pretty sure XB1 is lower priced in most of Europe, it's getting sales pretty much everywhere.

OP has a point though. other than the UK, XB1 sales will have no effect on PS4 what so ever in EU. so its irrelevant if XB1 slashes its price or not, what will effect PS4 sales if PS4 gets its price slashes.

Yep just checked amazon.fr and amazon.it and xbox one is cheaper than ps4.

It is far more likely that the result will be similar to the PS3/360 weekly results in Europe.  Until you can address the branding disparity of the two companies in the region, there is no reason to expect a different result.  This will make for an interesting bump.

In France, we can find Xbox One with five games for 329 EUR in many stores. For PS4, it's 399 EUR, most of the time with one (sometimes two) game (s). Microsoft adopt a very competitive approach almost everywhere.
