*interview gets puled*

Sony sucks!

*interview gets released and people in theatres get hurt*

WHY DID SONY LETS THIS HAPPEN?

Would be funny if it turned out to just be a nerd that hates Seth Rogen or something

Seriously, this is fucked up though. Now that Sony has cancelled the movie, the hackers should give back the information they stole and let this be the end of it.

I completely agree, I was going to go just because they said not to..

why would they do that? they have more data to release to extort more from Sony, at this point Sony expects the data to be released even if they did/or did not release the Movie.

that much you can bank on, Sony will no doubt have a full on security sweep once again and all employed there will under go further checks, no doubt the NSA is now on site gleaning further information off of Sony getting ready to have Sony infront of the over site feds/civil willing to put further injunctions against Sony for yet another security breach that Sony will have to further invest into which yet again hackers will go after.

even if sony put freaking 10 billion set aside for/security it would not matter, they are the target of a Govt. Back hacking Groups paid and invested to do damage to Sony by not another company, not by just a few hackers here and there but by a freaking countries Govt. against a entertainment company!

and you really think , hey we got our way lets just give all the data back, sorry there buddy we just wanted to teach you a lesson..lmao

Get ready/for NSA now having a direct open back door into every computer system open ..for you know...."protection purpose"

its that or Sony gets sued to death in court for ever..well after this , this just gives Govt. More excuse to exploit more privacy rights of people.

But of course Sony will still get the Blame, so its all good right?they already the law suits have already started.

Government will pay them off. Like, what? You seriously think that a company based in America has to deal with the repurcussions of a terrorist attack by a hostile nation?

Sony will get sued, and it'll get settled. NSA will still push for these backdoors though.

On top of which Sony, seth rogan, and james franco will go down in history for making a movie that pissed off a nation so much that it was willing to commit international suicide to interrupt.
This entire series of events has been, for lack of a better word, interesting.

After The Dark Knight Rises, theaters aren't playing around with this type of thing. People are crazy. It's unfortunate, but now this puts us in a situation where theaters may start canceling any movie based on threats. Sony had no choice but to pull the movie after the theaters got spooked.

Dan I want to see this movie now.

was this one of the movies that got leaked cause now i kinda want to see it?

No, if they had leaked the movie,  it would have defeated the purpose of threatening then not to release it.
