US was 50%, UK was 10%.

It's 10% higher that will eventually even out (given the new markets they launched in).

It's not "practically dead".

Europe is lost but I'm curious to see how things will go in my region (Latin America). The only thing I'm certain of is that Nintendo isn't winning any body really .... toss up between the other two. I think the X1 will be fine there so long as the price is competitive and they roll out some good games.

Microsoft is aware of this... that is why they are focusing their efforts in the US and UK. Now... they seem to be making up ground, but it is imperative that they capture one of those markets, or at least break even in the US otherwise, there really isn't anywhere else to go. Sony forced Microsoft's hand in the US and that is why you see them offering such great deals. PS4 has really did wonders for all console gamers because its making them all more competitive. This is a good thing.

by your standards Apple iphone is dead outside USA because android controls more than 80% of the market... Would anyone say apple is dead outside USA??? No it would be a ridicule statement...

in short XB is dead only in Japan and it will only get better even there LT

in long ... Market share is one thing... But bottom line total sales is what matters... If your competition is doing way better good for them it doesn't make your net income smaller if your sales are good.. On top of that USA and UK represent almost 50% of the global market in the console box market..
