There is no way Bloodborne will sell more than The Order.

why? its a typical fromsoftware game. What is the order? its the first attemp by the god of war makers to make a third person shooting adventure game

Fixed (how is plot, setting or even genre similar?). But yeah my thoughts too

Yes, it's a typical From Software niche game, barely able to sell 2 million copies on a 80 million install base. The Order is a perfect "generic" TPS that will show nicely in the advertisements and can attract casual audience in droves, especially with absolutely no games releasing close to it.

The Order is actually in an Infamous: SS position, a (potentially) mediocre game releasing for an audience with no new games to play. Add a tripled user-base, and subtract to allow for Infamous being a part 3 in a series while TO1886 is a brand new IP, and you easily have a 2+ million seller.

Accounting in lifetime numbers is TO's good position to appear in bundles, while Bloodborne will probably never get bundled due to its niche nature and non-accessible content.

there are allready articles questioning the orders success and saying it will disappoint, no one is questioning bloodeborne being a good game.

How is that relevant? How many articles were there about AC Unity's bugs and glitches? How many internet forum threads about Watch Dogs downgrades? How many reviews saying Destiny is average at best?

Most people who buy games don't read articles, they watch TV ads and buy advertised bundles... Nobody is questioning Dark Souls or Bloodborne being good games, but they are made for a very limited audience.

so? the last god of war sold barley 2 million while dark souls 2 sold 1 million. Dark souls  1 sold 1.9 Million and demon souls which was also a ps3 exclusive sold 1.74 million. The order looks allready like its gonna be a bad game, bloodborne can easily outsell the order. The order really looks like an IP that will fail.

The Order
FW US 350k
FW WW 750K

Blookdborne
FW US 300k
FW WW 700K

Tricky, lets see

Order
FW US 300,000
FW WW 550,000

Bloodborne
FW US 250,000
FW WW 500,000

Do you think there are more gears of war like fans to dark souls/demon souls fans?

The Order might probaby do better in Europe generally and may catch attention to Gears fans in US
Bloodborne might do good numbers in both US and UK specifically (may even do good in japan)

If Sony announces a bundle for one of them, its pretty much an easy win for that one over the other. Other than that, i think the Order may sell more due to the popularity it has generally (positive and negative). I hope Bloodborne sells more though

You must have not cared for news at all the last few weeks, the Order is at the moment the highest preordered game on vgChartz (america), and there are articles coming up every day that shine a positive light over The Order.

So at the moment it does NOT look like its gonna be a bad game, and it does NOT look like an IP that will fail.

By predicting something you should not do it with your personal opinion in mind.

My prediction is that Sony is going to advertise The Order way more than Bloodborne so it definately has the chance of outselling Bloodborn and going into the 2-3Million range.

The Order

US FW: 400k

WW FW: 900k

Bloodborne

US FW: 200k

WW FW: 500k

I think Bloodborne having a connected, online element and being more fast paced than past games in the Souls franchise could mean it's a lot more accessible than those games.
I think the sales of both The Order and Bloodborne may be similar, although The Order may be more marketable.

I'm not sure about US, but Worldwide:

Bloodborne 600K
The Order 700K

Bloodborne: 800k (400k NA)
The Order: 660k (350k NA)
