Well, so much for my still unplayed Arkham City copy. Shame on the internet for misleading me in saying this is a great game series. And thank you Rol for saving me from being disappointed.

Don't listen to Rol in this case! He played the WORST entry in the series. Many say that Arkham City is the BEST entry. Give it a go!

No. As a German I have always been taught to follow the opinion of Austrians. Since they make the better (Kaiser)Schmarrn and (Marillen)Knödel.

So no chance. The game will burn.

i like AA more. it feels more like a metroidvania.

I'll be honest and I'll say that I agree with this review, although I never experienced those sloppy framerrates.

 

Never liked the Batman games much, and they got worse after Asylum.

What should I expect from AC then? High enough quality to be worthy of a 5?

I would say yes, although I didn't play AO to have a point of comparison. AC was fun at times, but not always and it wasn't enough that I was interested about AO.

I don't know, maybe these kind of games just aren't for you. I thought AA was a great game, almost gave it a 9/10, since I played it on PC the controls sucked (hate playing with a keyboard). But that game was a lot more linear though
