RPG's should never launch in 4th quarter. CDProjekt Red has the right idea.

A few pages back someone quoted a user from gaf who had found the angles on the Nov graph.  Using the ~242K and ~1.2M for Wii U and XBO, respectively, he came up with ~828K for PS4.

Gaf seems to say ~840k for the PS4.

Also 515k for 3DS no idea if that was posted already.

OT: Annoyed at the overtracking, the rest seems to be expected.

I know nintendo numbers are official, but the others ?

So everything overtracked. Still, great numbers for PS4 and especially X1. Kind of terrible numbers for Wii U....

Wow 515k for 3DS is pretty good no? Last year was 770k, and considering overall drop (YoY) i think 515k is pretty good, especially when N3DS has been announced for months now. Vgc had it at 533k, only 18k off, not bad.

Vita here is at 52k, that might be undertracked but who knows, it'll need to mostly be from the 2k model as pstv ltd is under 39k which i expect most of its sales were in Oct (when it released)

Wow we got numbers on time this month! Wii U sales are - anyway, excellent One numbers.

This outcome became obvious as soon MS announced the pricecut prior to that it was already up in the air because of several high profile games coming out on XBOX (HALO:MCC being the main one) that were going to tighten the game.

Sony has to feel fine with this, MS went with the kitchen sink approach and the PS4 still did exceptionally well. Could Sony match the XB1 price? Sure. Do they need to? No.

Last November a PS4 could be had (if you could fine one) for 399 and the XB1 was 499. This year the PS4 is still 399 and only had a black friday promotions (GTA bundle was not a free game, like the Destiny bundle it had a higher entry price than the base model). This year the XB1 can be had for 349.99 and it comes with several games for free, and these promotions were there all month.
