 Isnt the highest both can be 2.09mil? (based on official reports). 1.2mil would be about 800k PS4. I dont see only800k ps4 imo. 1.2mil also makes sense if it were WW numbers (or US+UK)

Maybe MS didn't release exact number in PR because then Sony could release a rounded figure(assuming sales are as close as we've been hearing) which would take polish off of XBO winning.

By that I mean:

If Sony say PS4 sold 1 million, but MS only say they were number one, it looks like they could have outsold PS4 by any massive number

But if MS released a number 1 million, Sony could then release there similar number aprox 1 million it wouldn't look as good

Think about it this way... NPD has verified that the max can only be 2.09 million.  This means that if the Xbox One sold 1.4 million.  The PS4 only sold 600k.  Which isn't very likely.  If the combined is only 1.8 million, the PS4 only Sold 400k.  All we know for sure is that Chartz has Xbox One overtracked... by a lot.


None of those numbers are a 7-10k difference.

VGC currently has PS physical software sales at about 10 million in the US for the month, 10:1 is a bit of an exaggeration but there is no question that is way higher than Nintendo's software sales for the month.

Sounds like CBoat was wrong per NeoGaf. Back to square one I guess. Sounds also like 850k is the max the PS4 could have sold based on percentages.
