Naughty Dog are busy with Uncharted 4 and probably the Last of Us 2

I don't want a Jak made by anyone else other than them

Ratchet was great at the start of the gen, fell away and then redeemed itself with "Into the Neux" which I thought was a great fun adventure and a fitting way to end the generation. I also felt it was a fitting way to finish the franchise....

Who would you want to make Jak & Daxter? Naughty Dog won't be the ones doing it, which is why I would be skepticle of a Jak & Daxter game.

Welp, its good to know that there is a new Ratchet and Clank game coming in 2015. And for PS4 owners, its another confirmed exclusive for 2015.

If you only count main entries there are 6+ the PSP title. If you count spin-offs there are a total off 11 games. The last time we got a complete, full Ratchet & Clank game was in 2009.

So you consider all 4 one a spinoff ?

It's till the best of the 7th gen imo


Well yeah, it deviates massively from the core formula...

Into the Nexus isn't a spin-off, but it isn't a full length R&C either.

As far as good Ratchet games go, we haven't seen one since 2009's masterpiece Crack in Time. 

 

So imo it's been a 6 year break. 

 

The problem is like you said the over saturation of bad Ratchet games lower value of the franchise.
