Sadly true, and even if ps4 is 20:1 it is a bbomb for the time being. We will see if after the better schedule for 2015 ps4 can take off.Will be hard to keep ahead of Wii wwith weak japan.

How much money is the Xbox brand winning/losing in Japan? It seems that Microsoft isn't investing that much money there to begin with.

Relatively speaking... considering the shrinkage of the market in Japan, and then comparing it to the results last generation, the PS4 is in fact doing okay.   The reason why I was so shocked was because the Xbox One is doing even poorer (as a ration of 360 at this point in time) than the competition.  Its doing exceptionally poor.   The PS4 is still traking favorabley compared to the much mangled PS3 launch

It took the PS3 8 months to sell 1 million in Japan.  The PS4 is doing just fine relatively. 

Rather than using pointless. subjective terms why not just make comparisons relative to its competors.

A la PS4 is doing twice as bad as the Wii U, XB1 is doing 20 times as bad as the PS4..,

street fighter 5, persona 5, dragon quest heroes, many good japanese games exclusiv for playstation in the next generation. thats why so bad... with the xbox one sales.

in march (japan) came ff type 0, disgaea 5, yakuza zero, a samurai girl-game (i dont rembember the name) and bloodborne for ps4.

for xbox multis, but no interesting exclusives. i think, the first xbox lifetime >>> xbox one in japan.

I really wish Japan wasn't so focused on mobile gaming. I get they have a lot of travel to do on trains and are busy to play games that are actually good but it still sucks.
