Forums - Nintendo - Wii U digital deluxe promotion ends this month

We knew it was going to happen but it’s worth reminding people that the Wii U Digital Deluxe Promotion will be ending at the end of this month. So basically you have until the end of the month to claim additional points. Whether Nintendo will reboot the program for 2015 remains to be seen. If they do we will let everyone know.

The deadline for earning points in the Deluxe Digital Promotion is December 31, 2014. Only eligible purchases or eligible download codes used in Nintendo eShop for Wii U before December 31, 2014 will qualify for this promotion. The deadline to exchange your points for an activation code is March 31, 2015.

Nooooo

Now I can't tell my dad it's "cheaper" to get the games digital!

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

They never were cheaper, even taking the promotion into account.

Retail versions for WiiU were always cheaper.

Not everything and not everywhere. Got plenty of games cheaper digital than physical disk. Including game download codes. So this N=1 shows you you're wrong.

I completely forgot this was a thing.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Retail is love.

Retail is life.

I wish they would extend it T_T

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Please extend it Nintendo!

I'm hoping Best Buy or some other store puts eShop cards on sale within a week so I can buy up a ton and get a crapload of eShop titles.

It technically makes every game 10% cheaper.

Can't say for Europe, where there are no official MSRPs, but they were always cheaper at launch in NA.
