I prefer Nintendo DIrect cause they more frequent and everyone gets to enjoy them. Don't like the idea of Playstation Experience cause some lucky bastards in America get to see the stuff in person and I don't lol.

Nintendo Direct. Esp some of the more quirky ones like for Smash with Sakurai and the MK8 one. The E3 one was amazing.
Nintendo Direct! I just like the way Nintendo presents these. Quick, organized, and to the point!
I still prefer the big news blowout you get at conferences like this, it feels like Christmas for gamers. Nintendo Direct feels like getting some of your Christmas presents every few months.

I prefer Nintendo Direct for the same reason why I preferred their digital event over Sony's event. Nintendo can trim the fat, make it more about the games, and allow better footage of their games to be seen without the camera panning to the audience and there is next to no pandering to a audience. Also it let Nintendo do things that you couldn't do like the robot chicken intro and the fight scene between Iwata and Reggie.
PSX featured lots of developers talking awkwardly, and people trying to pump up the audience and to pander to them. The awkward pauses, the audience giving scattered applause because they felt they needed to. Random suits trying to look casual to cater to the fans etc. Did you see the PlayStation boss ? He didn't look comfortable at all. Sony could have shown the same things but in a tighter fashion and could have avoided all the lulls from the crowd if they did a direct event like Nintendo does.
Sony copies Nintendo again, i see
(seriously, though, it was only a matter of time before the others started developing their own platforms. It gives them more control over content delivery, and who among us, corporation or not, doesn't want more control?)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I think Nintendo does not wnat to give away too much otherwise they won't have much for E3. Sony did this before the PS4 launched and I think they might have done it again.
I believe it's better if you compare this to something like the Nintendo Digital Event rather than some Nintendo Direct. I don't know what kind of Direct you're comparing it to, after all.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
:3
Both fail to match the Nintendo digital event and all the tree house stuff.
