What?  No excuse for what?

X1/PS4 being first Year. WiiU had SM3DW competing against games like GTA5 and one of the best of last gen TLoU!

3DS had a few good games as well year 1, then there is Sony HH Vita thats in its 3rd year :p

I know 1st year is definitely hard as looking at the past and wat we seen now, but then again we have SM World (SNES) and SM64  :0

I'm not sure what you're saying.  That the Wii U's first year was really good?  That's fine if you think so but I'm not sure you'll get a ton of agreement with that.  First years are typically the worst for most consoles, in my opinion.  Besides, it's not like the XO and PS4 had nothing, as Shadows of Mordor, Far Cry 4, and Dragon Age: Inquisition all did well for themselves.

I found it to be quite troubling that Microsoft didn't decide to show off gameplay of Halo 5 or games like Quantum Break.

If I was them, I would be doing at Spikes event December 13, You get way more Exposure and I would have to say the shows they put on are way, way better.

ZELDA GOTY 2015

I doubt it, too much coming out in 2015

Overall I think the show was alright. It certainly wasn't as dull as last year's VGX awards, and there were a few nice new reveals. Zelda at the end definitely made it for me :D

Wish we got a glimpse of the new Star Fox game though, but its releasing before Zelda so there has to be some kind of trailer soon!

Yes, way to many games coming out. This one can come down to so many games, Bloodbourne even though I will never play it looks to be something new and exciting and I hope it spawns more games like it.

Let's also hope they make another Ninja Gaiden but nothing Like 3 and more like 2

I'm not to sure about that, I think this was very dull and even with what Spike had, they did more with it.  I couldn't even watch this, I had to shut pause and skim through it. Was not entertaining at all. Sierra part was good but that's about as good as it got. At least for me.

I just think spikes presentation is better.

Yeah next year is gonna hurt my wallet lol. I'm sure the new Zelda will be cool but I have a hard time calling it the 2015 GOTY since 2015 will be loaded.

I just found last year's awards to be incredibly awkward. There were some dull moments in this show for sure, but I think overall it was a lot more watchable to me. I literally had to turn the stream off last year because the interactions between Keighley and Joel McHale or Keighley and his guests were just so cringe-worthy. This year those moments were there, but were much shorter and broken up between trailers, awards, and musical interludes. Definitely not an amazing show, but it was decent.

Yea why can't us gamers have a better show? I do think E3 is the best of the best but the rest are all awkward, We need some people to change the format. Something new, rather then all these moments where you feel embassed for the person/people speaking. LOL
