Never really got the whole 4D thing.

The concept of 4D is not as exciting as I thought it would be.. :/

It is still just 3d...

Huh? I guess my monitor can't display the "4D". Looks just like a small area being rendered at a time to me.

Yep, that looks pretty much like what I'd imagine things would look like for a 3d being traveling through a 4d world.

You guys should watch the video, it actually explains what the game does really well.

displaying a 4D world would look very confusing, so they only display 3D slices in which the 3D space is coherent and not influenced by 4D objects in a way that would make it illogical

Because there's no way for us to understand how real 4d works, not to mention for us to be able to observe it.

This game is much more like a 3d version of Fez. The gameplay is in 2d, but it includes the 3rd dimension as you can spin the world using the power of (I don't remember the name. In this case though, the gameplay is in 3d, but you can "spin" the world to se different 3d images within a 4 dimensional space.
