Yeah...totally an accident.

Yeah, that cop definitely intended to kill that man in broad daylight while being filmed. That's why the autopsy showed no damage to his throat or neck bones. And he definitely did it because the man was black. That's why they didn't find any KKK robes at his home.

Wait a minute... something doesn't add up here.

His death was ruled a homicide by neck compressions from the chokehold, which is prohibited in the force.

My post has nothing to do with race. Its a police officer killing a man, simple as that.

Gather around it's story time.

Once upon a time, a long time ago. Sir lord Evolve was walking down a path of the gods. Sir Lord Evolve was puffing on a magical blunt. As he walked in the city of the wind, he was pleasantly feeling hi and nothing could ruin his day, accept this one thing.
As Sir lord Evolve was walking he felt wind on his face and wait a minute, heat on his back legs. . As he was ah puffin, puffin away a cop cruiser had snuck up behind him on the path of gods.

In total disbelief Sir Lord Evolve panicked and threw the said leaf rolled choice of smoke as far as he could, rather then the smart choice of eating it whole. The wind caught it and brought it right down in front of said Sir Lord Evolve.

The tyrant stepped out of his fancy carriage, this is when the everlasting day of beauty went dark. Sir Lord Evolve put his hands up only to be slammed against the carriage hood, however Sir Lord Evolve did not put up a fight. The tyrant of the day continued with his midieval ways, With the carriage door open, the tyrant slammed Sir Lord Evolves head into the upper trim of said Carriage.

I'm afraid this was not the end of dark days, back at the towns lockup. Sir Lord Evolve was treated to being slammed against a wall, harassed to give up names and what ever said Sir Lord Evolve may have, even though this is all he had. The story ended with Sir Lord Evolves case being thrown out by said young Lords Defender of the courts. The END!!

While this is funny, it's a true story. Cops do not act as you think they do. Lucky I put my hands up right away, I could have been shot or beaten a lot worse. Cops are supposed to be held to a higher order then us people, not at the same level, they are there to protect you, even from your self. Even in MMA fighters are taught choke holds that are not to kill, cops should know all these rules to protect it's own citizens. Your supposed to bring them to justice, not in a body bag. There are many ways of doing this.

Oppp no one liked my bed time story. Oh well, good night.

@pirateotega
Manslaughter is an accident too. I think most here would agree that the cop was not trying to kill him, but that's not the argument here. If you think being a racist means you have to be a member of the KKK you are quite misinformed. But again no one claimed this was an act of racism. The argument is that if a white officer "acts above the law" will they be less likely to be punished because of many loopholes to get off the hook and even more so in the case that it was a black victim.

no he did a submission hold on him, restricting blood flow to the brain, which is allowed, not a choke hold restricting oxygen to the lungs, which is prohibited.

homocide means death by another person, it is not a legal term in this context.

Do i believe the cop intentially tried to kill him, (something required to charge him with murder) no.

but i do think he acted out of line, used excessive force, and deserves to be charged with reckless endangerment or something. but it was mostly the guys poor health that killed him, not the cop.

but thats not to say the cop is innocent, i think he should do time

Yes, it was possibly an accident: was the cop aware of Garner's health problems? A chokehold isn't automatically fatal, doesn't restrict air passage, and Garner's health issues played a role. This is not a case of a police officer choking someone to death i.e. restricting air flow as some might be mislead to believe. It's a little more complicated.

I think it's all the media. If a white officer kills a black citizen in the line of duty it's national news, but if a black officer kills a white guy it goes no further than local news. The media flocks like vultures to racism towards African Americans.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

From what I have seen of American Police in the news, may of them think they run the joint and are nothing short of scum.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

I would say White male in general is persecuted as the câncer of society by media and minorities defender just for color/gender.
Second thing I know is that a lot of people who bash police and pretend criminals are victms when robbed or suffer some act of violence don't just say he was guilty of having more than the other and let go, no, they call the police and demand their rights.
About Law itself, with a good lawyer you can do a lot of bending in your favour.
The no indiction part I would need more analysis to conclude, but a crushing majority of cases go unsolved. And depending of the case if you can't pinpoint the exact claim against a subject you can't do much.

Can everyone agree that police officers are above the law?* Fixed it.

Yes but to a point. They're not civilians. They serve, protect and enforce the law even it means they bend it some.

That cop held the choke-hold too long and garner died as a result of it. I think that he should of been charged with accidental death or wrongful death but not murder. I don't think it had anything to do with race but I believe that some people want it to be. Something to rally behind.

It's really simple. Fight the police, and a fight you shall get. Do as you are instructed, and the matter will be settled in a calm manner. The choice is yours.
