It's this game called Digimon World 3. And then it's this little known game called Cold Fear

Oh, I played Cold Fear long time ago. Actually enjoyed it, and RE Revelations reminded me a lot of it (being on the ship etc...)

Yeah. My only problem with Cold Fear is it's way too realistic. You can't hold on to healing items, and you only have one weapon with you at all times.

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

Bad Fur Day if that counts.

Probably Little King's Story on my Wii. Looks childishly cute and cuddling (which probably killed the game saleswise) but it's tough as nails gameplaywise!

Mr. Nutz SNES/Genesis

Solid platformer  with great graphics featuring a squirrel.

Blinx: The Time Sweeper (Xbox)

Solid 3D platfomer with time control elements.

Scooby-Doo: Night of 100 Frights

A 3D platformer. Really fond memories of this game from when I was younger. Me and my sister were at our cousins house playing it the day my grandfather died. We of course didn't know he was dying while we played it for hours, but this game has always stuck with me since the moment my mother returned from the hospital weeping.

Dude, I remember that game!  Freedom Fighters was awesome!

Also, Battle Clash with the superscope was awesome back in the day.  Surprised the franchise didn't get a reboot with the Wii.  The Wii U could be an oportunity to revive it as more a proper mech game with sophisticated controls; the Gamepad would be up to the task.

Honorable mention to Glover, which wasn't too obscure, but didn't do gangbusters either.  And i really liked it.

both of these are terrific.

throwing out another handheld title--i'll go out on a limb here and say it's probably the best thing game freak has done since pulseman (another hidden gem): drill dozer! the cartridge has a built-in rumble feature so that your gba shakes in your hands every time you fire up jill's drill. it's a metroidvania-esque romp with upgrades, though with clearly delineated stages as opposed to one seamless world. also some of the best boss battles ever.

downright irresistible character design done by the great ken sugimori of pokémon fame (the game even came with a short comic in the box):
