I know that. I'm saying console gaming is here to stay however much PC ports get better.

Yeah, but someone is saying that a person may buy a PC meaning most multiplatform games wont matter to them when buying a console, meaning Wii U would have more of an equal chance.

You'd see that happen if that statement were true, yet people are buying PS4's and X1's over WiiU's, in droves in PS4's case.

There's waaaaaay more variables involved rather than this though, so the sales of each console and the statement being true dont have to be related at all.

Which variables would those be?

Im a pc gamer, and pc gaming for third party is not always the best option despite what many would like to claim.
Also, third party does not guarantee the latest third party games, ask pc only users how much they enjoyed gtav and destiny for example.
Besides, the online ecosystem for consoles is a lot stronger and experiences much less foul play.
The article is pretty fair and brings up valid points.
Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

That's entirely subjective, no? IMO PC is terrible for gaming. I'd much rather game on any console (even the older ones) than on a PC. |
Keep lying to yourself... :)

The statement: A PC owner would have a good chance of choosing the Ninty console because they have the multiplatforms already
Your statement: The Wii U isnt selling so that isnt true:
Variables:
Someone could simply like the MS or PS exclusives more than Ninty's
Someone who buys a PC could not afford to buy another console
Just because the consoles are selling high doesnt mean it has to be PC players buying them
Someone could be playing mostly indies, meaning they probably would be satisfied with just PC
A PC player could buy both a MS/PS console and a Wii U
etc etc
Come on, thinking that there's only one variable in any situation is just bad, straight up.

I have no problem with the Wii U if I could somehow make money while playing games Wii U would make a pretty nice second console.
But when it comes to gun pointed at my head and choose only one, I can give six reasons for choosing PlayStation.
