Surprising, for a Forbes freelance article it seems pretty fair.

Not when you consider the author. Erik Kain is easily the best games journalist out there.

He seems like a decent guy, I'll remember the name.

One reason to buy the other two.
Third party games.

And thats the only reason you really need.

If by some miracle you don't own a PC despite living in a 1st world country and you can use controllers on a lot of PC games...

No. Console gaming is where it's at. PC will never enter the equation for most.

It's better except for exclusives.

Well this one is better than the other one that gave ammiibos as reasoning, that's for sure.

OT: Some I agree with, some can be debated. Wii U is a good low budget console that offers free online and high rated exclusives. The console is also backwards compatible, which is also a plus.

It does not have any of the big online games though and who games online with WiiU? The Wii was not a popular console for online gaming and that was also free.

So someone produced a list of 6 reason to get a Wii U over an X1 or PS4. Wonder how big a list someone could produce to get a X1 or PS4 over a Wii U?

Right now, my version of that list would suck, a year from now it might be great. However for myself Wii U is a better device for now, while the PS4 (and that other console I won't buy Xbox One) is future potiential.

I am really surprised at the amount of people really satisfied with PS4 right now, a lot of the huge games have been a bit disappointing, and the heavy hitters still have a ways to go.

Xbox One again isn't the type of purchase I plan on making ever, but it does feel like it currently might have the edge in the library in terms of the two devices.

For me the console is just better from the design,to the controller,to the UI,to the features and the power.

3rd party games have been enough with Dragon Age already giving me 50hrs as I have yet to get into Far Cry 4 because of that.

Then the Witcher is close and even if those games were on WiiU they would not compare to the PS4 version.

Also no WiiU game appeals to me except Zelda and Xenogsaga, but games like Witcher and Bloodborne will be just as good with a similar experience.

WiiU only appeals to diehard Ninty fans.I would take Xbox for the same reasons and third party if for some reason I did not realize PS4 is the best choice for me.

Why is that so hard to understand?

Can anybody even count that high?

1. More Power, which gives better visuals.

2. 3rd Party Support, which also gives us:

3. Much more Games

That's it in my opinion (right now, at least), really. And if you happen to have a good gaming PC, all those points are even rendered moot.

Btw, the Virtual Console could have been a great 7. point for the Wii U

I have 5 fingers on each hand so I'd say yes, the number is likely within my counting range

I'm fairly certain PC is already a fairly large part of the market.
