There's nothing wrong with it! It's just the perception you can have on things.


It just seems like a slippery slope to me. There should be an exception made if the exclusive is released for the next gen console in the same console family. If not, you could say the same thing about games like the Resident Evil GameCube remake, the Ratchet & Clank games that were released for the PS2, etc, etc.

1. The Last of Us - Incredibly real and heartfelt story complemented with solid gameplay and well-made multiplayer
2. Uncharted franchise - Amazing, action adventure packed with over the top set pieces, engaging story and all the great one liners you can handle from an amazing protagonist and great supporting cast. Uncharted 2 is the better of the three.
3. Little Big Planet 2/3 - Fun and engaging platformer with tons of charm and replayability with all the amazing user-made content.
4.God of War 3 - Some of the best hack n' slash around with epic boss battles, huge array of beasts and baddies to take out and all the blood pumping violence one could hope for. Also, boobies.

It's simple: if you can play the same game in more than one console, it is not exclusive. Added content is just a bonus.

 

I don't need a Ps3 to play The Last of Us, for example. Just like I don't need a 360 to play Halo now, so that isn't an exclusive anymore.

 

If an Uncharted collection were to happen on Ps4, it wouldn't be an exclusive on Ps3 anymore.

 

I've seen people mentioning Valkyria Chronicles in this thread. That game used to be an exclusive throughout Ps3's lifespawn, but it got a recent PC release. It isn't an exclusive anymore, as you don't need a Ps3 to play it.
