There's nothing wrong with it! It's just the perception you can have on things.

It just seems like a slippery slope to me. There should be an exception made if the exclusive is released for the next gen console in the same console family. If not, you could say the same thing about games like the Resident Evil GameCube remake, the Ratchet & Clank games that were released for the PS2, etc, etc.
