Why do you say digital has less value than physical? To me, they both have the same exact value, because they both do the same exact thing --- allow me to play the game.
I'd rather have a digital game, as I don't have to store discs, wait for their delivery, etc.

An even greater value of digital games is in the fact that I share all my purchases with a friend, and we both can play a game at the same time, instead of waiting on each other to swap discs.

That said, I think $60 is fair price.

I'm not going to buy a full priced game digitally if I can afford to do so. I also buy everything physically if I can, even PC games where you're basically just buying a CD key

That only happened twice.  I wouldn't torture myself.  I ask myself, "wait, or get it for a higher price?"  If it is worth the extra 5 dollars, or whatever it is I'm paying to have the game now, versus waiting, I'd gladly get the game.  Waiting 10 months (or whenever a game goes on sale) to save 10 dollars really isn't beneficial if it means waiting for several months.  That extra 10 dollar cost is worth it to get the game 8 months quicker.

That happened with Soul Calibur II HD.  I spent 10 dollars on SCV a few weeks prior.  I knew SCII was the superior game, but it was at 20.  I gave it a bit of time, and it never went on sale, so I went and got it at full price.  About three weeks (maybe a month) it went on sale, down to 10 dollars.  I was glad I didn't wait.  I took my PS3 over to a friends that next saturday, and we all played SCII for a good hour (maybe more) and it was worth it.  Sometimes, waiting for sales hurt you in the end.

But, sometimes, they're good for a few games you know you would have never bought.  I got Virtua Fighter 2, and when I invited friends over a couple months ago, they played it for over an hour and had a good time with it.  They made it worth getting for 99 cents, because I'd much rather play Final Showdown.  Had there been no VF2, we would have probably done 4p in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, or Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate so maybe spending an hour on a 99 cent game that only supports 2 people wasn't best.  It's hard to say, though. 

They both don't have the exact same value, though.  Get banned.  Or, have your system lock up on you.  Have both of those things happen.  Those 60 dollar games you bought are now gone.

If you get banned, or your console breaks, you still have disc games....  Unless you physically break the disc, it still works.  The main thing though, is that you don't own the games you buy, your account does.  So, I would never pay full price for a digital game.  Sony could get hacked one day (as hackers seem to hate sony) and your download lists, user information... everything, could go away one day.

They would probably have a plan to get rid of DRM to save themselves..  However, applying DRM to games should make the price automatically lower.  It cannot be promised that I'll be able to play whenever I wish.  Even still... What happens when game patches disappears, years from now?  Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will make you start over if you're missing DLC that the save-file says you should have.

So, you redownload, or start over.   So, even having a disc isn't promising everything will be okay... but still.  I'm not paying full for a digital game.  Not ever.

because if im paying full price for a digital game its actually hurting my wallet more than helping me. I have to 1. Buy storage/it takes up space. 2. No physical copy cannot resell or have something.  3. your system could break and you could lose the game            those reasons are big and are enough reason to not pay 60$ for a digital game.

Well there were a few flash sales that had games for a few bucks but I honestly wouldn't pay more than like $10 max.  Full games that has a physical version will always win me.  I rather pay more for physical then dirt cheap digitally.  There have been few digital-only games that have interested me and if I'm ever interested i'll wait til it hits $10 if its more expensive.

I'll only buy if its not available on disc so 15 or so usually. Telltale has begun bringing theirs to disc which I will now wait for. Even Retro City Rampage DX is now on disc on PS4 which I preordered (only 2,000 total)

can't sell it.  Hate that and ALWAYS buy physical when I can because of it even from a company like ND.

If it's cheap enough, I may not mind getting both digital and physical.  It saves my disc reader.  But, I'm not going to wait too long.  But, games often go on sale when I think about them.  A friend showed me a video of Far Cry 3...  I thought it looked amazing, and said I'd like to get it if it went on sale...  Next day, there's a flash sale....  I ended up not getting it though.  I have too many games as it is, and haven't even loaded some of them up past the title screen yet.

Most of the digital games I got were under 10.  Physical is worth more than digital, but I wont completely disregard a game simply because it's digital.
