If there's no physical option I'll buy digital, but it has to be really good for me to spend $20 on it.

Since PS4 gamesharing allows me and my buddy to only pay $30 (half of the full $60 price) for new digital games, $30 is what I'm willing to pay.

Thanks jlmurph!

i only buy digital so far this gen...

I feel the perfect entry price for digital games should be no more than $50. Simply because unlike a physical game the digital consumer will be unable to sell his game.

Some people trade in a previously bought game and put the store credit into their new game purchase, people that buy digitally can never do that.

I don't thik it right that publishers treat digital and physical sales like they were the exact same thing. They are making more money off the people buying digitally, while giving them less of a "versatile" product.

$20-30 is my general max as it is a pain to acquire digital games for me (have to pack up system and leave it at friends house for two days while it downloads and installs) and I cannot let anyone borrow it which ads value to physical releases.

Had a thorough discussion on this in a thread I made. It honestly depends on the console, and the price. If it is a full retail game, that I was interested in, that's less than 2 years old, if it's under 10 dollars, I'm obligated to buy it. The cheaper it is at that point, the higher my likelihood of buying the game. Why not get a game like LA Noire for five dollars?

However, if we're talking new games (one week since release), I'd never get one at full priced, digitally. I wouldn't consider it for anything more than 30 dollars. If I'm paying more than 30 dollars for a game, I better own the disc, so that the game isn't tied to my digital account.

That way, when services are ended I will still have access, if I paid so much for the game.

Then, the console aspect of the game. PS3 games. No problem. PS4, when I get it? Probably not. 50GB game downloads are kinda massive. The waiting for download, installation, etc. It would have to be priced really low for me to think about it, and at least 15 bucks below retail, as there's still space being eaten up and eventually, it will cost me a new hard drive, so what money am I really saving?

I'd never buy a fully priced digital title, though. Always on disc if I pay full. No, it isn't even about being able to hold a tangible disc anymore and being able to physically see it. It's about me being able to always play for a premium price without the status of my account dictating what I do with the game.

But, if it was three bucks? Five? Ten? whatever. Cool.

€50 max for AAA games.

Add me on Xbox: DWTKarma

In an ideal world I would _like_ to pay $5-10 less than its respective physical counterpart would warrant (IE portable games

I just wait for PSN $0.99 Flash Sale.

Depends on the game really... For first party titles and some selected third party ones, $60. The rest,

30$ for 3D game

and this is saying that the full price pay are rated with critical claim the price would drop depending on score for me.
