Forums - Sales - [INFO] Black Friday! X1 Dominates, Other Statistics! [Walmart/Target Top SKU's]1. X1 AC:U + 2. PS4 GTA5/TLoU + 3. 3DS NSMB2 (Target: WiiU SM3DW)

Well, they were right last year, as PS4 had a low stock for Black Friday (Europe launch) and the 360 got massive bundles and gift cards.

I didn´t expect it would be that wide of a lead.

Salty in here. This isn't even official yet. When Microsoft confirms this, then we will see even better meltdowns.

Downplay in 3. 2. 1....

Well, according to this source Xbone was ahead last year aswell, even tho PS4 sold more overall on black friday, so again, this tells us nothing on the overall winner

No, the XOne sold more last year BF.

Even VGChartz agrees with that.

The way this firm gathers data is highly flawed.

1. Most IMPORTANTLY it requires buyers to get a smartphone app and upload pics of their purchase. Does this correlate with realworld sales at all? The firm has to do the convincing.

2. It only "tracks" 2 retailers, one of which is Target, the only retailer that had the best XB1 deal by far (practically $280 with 2 games).

3. If the above isn't enough to shake your belief, just look at the games list posted above. Do you really believe GTA got outsold by the likes of The Evil Within, FIFA 15 and The Lego Movie Videogame by up to 2:1 and more?

Actually they require you to upload a receipt which basically means online sales are largely untracked. Also,  the Shaperoo and Receipt apps incentivize scanning with points and rewards that are used to promote specific brands according to their site so the bias is literally built in.  I made purchases on Friday but I didn't scan my receipts with a app so I quite literally don't exist in this sample.

Hehe yeah pretty heavy selection bias at work here.

The same site is claiming that the Number One game was Maden 15...

How interesting that the OP decided to omit this chart, the chart that basically makes the entire thread pointless and false.

So, GTA V basically flopped completely, getting outsold by the megasellers like Just Dance and AC Rogue. No wonder PS4 sold poorly, there seems to be absolutely no market for a GTA bundle, since TLOUR did not even chart.

wtf?
this are black friday sales

was gtav at sale on black friday? no
was just dance, madden and shadow of mordor f*cking cheap at every retailer

of gtav sold bad on black friday. just like every other full price game (if u don't got a gift card with bundle purchase u used for)

This chart looks so wrong

Incredibly impressive if true, but i think it would be best to wait on official numbers ^^; The source's method of finding these numbers leaves a lot of room for real world error.
