Same thing happened to me a few years ago. I use to work retail and I had someone asked me if their kid would be able to play some M rated game (can't remember which one but it had ALOT of violence). I asked how old and she said 8. I was like, ummmmm...well, there's alot of violence in this game. And she goes "Like shooting and killing?" And I said "yes" to which she replies..."Oh, that's no big deal. I'll take it."

Nope. When I was 12, it was 1992. I was playing SMW and Sonic. Parents back then weren't so fucking stupid.

I had Resident Evil games from the age of 8 as well as plenty of other violent games on the PS1. I also watched most R rated movies way before I was 10 and have yet to kill or harm anyone and have no intention of doing so.

Exactly, shit, my parents wouldn't let me watch Full Metal Jacket until I was 16-17, and no Stephen King books either.  V gave me nightmares for months.  My mom used to get so pissed at my father (divorced) because he was far, far less involved as a parent when I was there on weekends.  I'd watch all types of stuff, and come home and she'd have to deal with being the bad guy lol.

Really? Wow clueless parents or parents who don't care. We have the ESRB for a reason or that PEGI girl but she's always changing her age.

I can't see why not. I frequently watched films and stuff with an 18 certificate when I was that age and it never did me any harm. As long as her daughter isn't some sort of nutjob I can't see a problem with it tbh.

Direct her to the ESRB rating which specifically says its 'M'. Then politely slap her with box.
