I highly doubt it'll be for Wii U, most probably PS4, PS4/XB1 or even 3DS if handhelds are on Square-Enix's definition of "consoles" and please don't be  Xbox one exclusive

Yeah its really just the whole why make an exclusive JRPG on a console that doesnt sell in Japan and disregarding how well JRPGs can sell in the west such as the ones I listed.

Hell The Last Remnant which I listed was only ever on 360 and PC and nobody moneyhatted that game XD

You know, Straight Right/Tantalus Games, those guys that ported Mass Effect 3 and Deus Ex to Wii U were porting a game for a top notch publisher to Wii U and it could be Square since they did Deus Ex, even if it did flop. We haven't heard a thing since January so who nows what it is but they said it isn't mature and its more of a rework than a straight port. They've also been looking for an engine programmer with Wii or Wii U experience since September. Could be something with Square. for JRPG games that come to Wii u if it's not Mario RPG, Final Fantasy Cristal Chronicles or sequel to famous JRPG from 3DS or DS games (which are many that is hard for me to remember ).

well i hope for the best whatever the title is or which console they release, I will be shocked if they announce the title for Xbox one Lol and many JRPG fans who stick with PS brand and Nintendo will rage

It might be something really good. I'm basing that off the fact that Yosuke (whom has a good head on his shoulders and wants to focus on bringing back that JRPG magic to SE) is the one announcing it.

Holy hell, yes! I'd even go nuts for a Square/Nintendo Paper Mario Wii U game if they wanted to use that franchise instead. Although SE does have a long way to go with me yet before they're back in my good graces. Bravely Default was the first right step in ages, but we'll see how FFXV and KH3 turn out.

I'd be incredibly surprised if it was a Wii U title.

Although a Mushroom Kingdom Hearts would be HUGE. Especially if it used Amiibos AND still included the Disney franchises.

Each of the Nintendo worlds (zones? levels? planets? never paid much attention to Kingdom Hearts) could draw on the gameplay styles of the games they reference, ie. Mushroom Kingdom would feature a lot of platforming, Kirby Zone would involve taking on the abilities of the enemies and so on.

And imagine the combined brand power of Mario, Mickey and Sora (is it Sora?). It would potentially be huge for all 3 companies.

Although I can't see it happening.
