Yes. In Europe the GTAV and FarCry bundles were unveiled months ago. And they got on sale the same date the games come out
In the Us, they're only for Black Friday and possibly the weeks after

Most GAFers have the same opinion about the PR spin... they are using 10 days to say triple because just the first week didn't reached that.

A lot of VGC users too... in a lot of threads.

That is why it is called spin... they tried to show a bigger boost after the price cut than what really happened.


Lol okay. In tha case i "know" the more than tripled mean 3.9x times the previous week.

And what about the statement about the last two weeks leading the sales in the US. Do he talk about the one previous week and just the half, the pr come out?
Or did he talk about the Sunset Overdrive week and the Cod week, what would be normal? Do u know that, too?

Do u also know, that the Sony PR, as example, always refers to previous dates?
7th January announce 4.2m Ps4 sold as of 28th December
16th April announce 7m Ps4 sold as of 6th April
12th August announce 10m Ps4 sold as of 10th August

And now u want to tell me, that the PR coming out on 12th Novmber refers to sales of 12th Novmeber?
Microsoft is ofc not that fast. They need time to write and evaluate the PR. They need time to get the numbers right etc...


That PR is clearly not about some half week sales between the 10th and 12th November. And i know that.

Although I would love a Zelda like game on the PS4. Darksiders I & II is what comes closest on the 7th gen consoles sadly (or Okami HD, but that's a remake). You'd think this genre would be a lot more popular given how great such games can be. And sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not a big Smash fan. Though the PS4 could use a good Kart racer à la Mario Kart. I loved Crash Team Racing when I was younger. 

And yeah, the PS4 could use a decent 3D platformer instead of that Knack crap. And that game sold way too well, even if we ignore the fact that it came bundled in Japan. So there's definitely a market for it on the PS4. 

DriveClub is a new IP. Knack is a new IP. Nathan Drake is next year. Kratos will be there.

Some guy said that MS is doing crazy bundles in France with the xbone and 4 games at 399€. Meaning desperate move.

Driveclub doesn't work properly (5.5 user score on metacritic lol) and Knack is crap. 

I'll specify: good IP!

Looks like the great GOTY Smash Bros wasn't strong enough to even remotely threaten PS4/X1 domination...

Btw where are the dudes who said Smash would surefire beat GTAV? 

And holy sh** at EU PS4!  EU PS4 on normal week flattened US PS4 on Black Friday!!!!!!!

I feel like this is overdue revenge for the Wii's glory days. PS4 outselling the Wii and the Wii U is the worst selling Nintendo console since Virtual Boy.

Consumers just sent a clear message to Nintendo. Wii F@ck U lol.
