A spinoff Metroid game where the character you play as isn't Samus, with Metroids and the likes remaining present.

Kid Icarus Spinoff? With Palutena playable? Now, I;'m not sure what the genre should be.......but....I WANT IT!

Why is Palutena 2 times in the poll? I mean who could want to play that?

I'm sure a new Wario game will be coming, and he's pretty much a bad guy. I'd rather have an action game where Bowser wrecks shit. However I want a game with him as the main hero, not where he conquers the Mushroom Kingdom like everyone always suggests. Bowser never conquers the Mushroom Kingdom anyway, he just busts into the castle, takes Peach, and leaves, while also erecting several castles in the middle of fucking nowhere miles from civilization, because Mario obsessively compulsively conquers them, giving him a little more time with Peach in his main castle. Whenever Bowser is a hero in a Mario game, he's never the star, and it's always an RPG. So what I'd like to see is a game where Mario, Luigi, and Peach are ALL captured by some smarter, more savvy villain who actually manages to truly take over the kingdom. Then he moves into Bowser's territory, destroys all his castles, captures all his kids, all 7 koopalings and Bowser Jr., and tries to capture Bowser but Bowser escapes and plots revenge, and ends up saving everyone. Rather than another platformer, this would be an action game. Bowser's not much of a platformer anyway. I mean come on, in Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3, you beat him not by jumping on him but by outplatforming him. No, Bowser is raw power, and an action game, like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, is the sort of gameplay that would show it off. Bowser storms through action packed levels with highly destructible environments and lots of enemies to beat the shit out of, and some are much bigger than Bowser but he jumps on them and sinks his teeth in while clawing them apart. He could get powerups that would make him even bigger and badder. Imagine if there were a canon appearance of Giga Bowser!

Also, there needs to be a game that makes better use of Daisy and Waluigi than as party guests, racers, athletes, and palette swaps or assist trophies. I'm talking an actual game with them as prominent characters. I say we have a game where Waluigi is the main villain. That DDR Mario game got really close, but Waluigi was just an obstacle with Bowser as the real villain. We know Waluigi likes Daisy and that Daisy and Luigi are sort of a couple, so I say there should be a game where Waluigi gets jealous and kidnaps Luigi so that no one will get in the way of his pursuit of Daisy, but Daisy, being the badass tomboy princess, takes matters into her own hands and saves Luigi from Waluigi. It would all take place while Mario was off saving Peach. She wouldn't use some bullshit power like emotions to save the day like Peach did in her game either, she'd go in and kick some ass. Perhaps it all takes place in a slummy city like Rogueport, where Waluigi is the leader of the local organized crime. Would give it some distinction from other Mario spinoffs, instead of being a platformer it'd be a mix of stealth and action as she infiltrates the mob and tracks down where they're keeping her love. You could even bring in E. Gadd to give her gadgets or something.

These are all cool ideas.

No only that, but the poll asks, "Which character would you like to see in his own adventure?", as if Zelda and Palutena are males.

A god sim probably...

Mario & Luigi spin off starring Bowser would be awesome. It takes Alphadream 3-4 years to make each game, so Miyamoto's spin off approach seems like it would work here.

I think Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a spin off game. It appears to be about the price of Captain Toad in Japan, and releasing so soon after Triple Deluxe makes me think it's meant to act as a hold-over until a AAA 3D Kirby is ready for Wii U.

Imagine this isn't from a Mario soccer game for a second, and instead it's Bowser in armor, with clawed gauntlets, and some sort of powerful gadget he got from E. Gadd or something that lets him launch it at enemies as a projectile. Now tell me it wouldn't be totally awesome to go in and wreck shit as Bowser.

Get Platinum on it and you got yourself a deal.
