Forums - Gaming - I wish they'd make a GTA game where your actions matter.

They did. Early GTA games had gangs and if you messed with them they would attack you every time they saw you, starting with pistols and going to flamethrowers and bazookas as you were gathering they hste, or they would help you with the police or other gangs if you were their friend.

I dunno if you're talking about GTA 1&2 because I've never played them, but I know that in GTA III and onwards they didn't really do that.

They would attack you if you attacked them first, but after they lost agro they'd go back to doing normal things. Although if you pissed them off in the story of the game (Like the Triads and Mafia in GTA III) they would attack you on sight.

They should also make you use your turn signal and pay child support if you knock up a hooker. Fun.

well it actualy bring some possibility, like passing on red ligth, the cops if they one start chasing you. same if a cops see you to fast.

Knoked prostitute ... you start to get msm harrasment, saying that she will call your wife if you doesnt pay ... you pay who you make here vanishe etc.

I dont see that as obstacle but alot more posibility.

That was actually my beef with GTA from the start. Sure, going on a mass murder spree is fun and all (at least it was when I was twelve), but when you can simply duck away from the cops afterwards, and everyone forgets that it happened - it makes the whole thing completely pointless. You could still do anything that you wanted to in the game, you'd just have to load a previous save in order to get things back to a manageable level of insanity afterward. Kind of like what you done when you've completely screwed the pooch on Fall Out or another open world title by angering/murdering/betraying the people you need to help you get through the game. In order to be a good criminal, you have to be able to get away with it - not just get away from the scene of the crime itself.

YES! Good Idea. I would love this sort of thing. And I believe my ultimate goal would be to kill everyone, destroy everyone and all that. Make the city DEAD because I was responsible for stealing and killing all.

GTA V MMO? That'd be cool. There's usually consequence in major MMO games and I like the idea of using it in a game like GTA but... that'd either take all the fun out or put more fun in and this function is unpredictable.

I wish they'd go back to the silliness of GTA SA and games prior. GTA 4 and 5 tried way too hard to tell a story and not very good stories at that. GTA 5 should be renamed Grand Fetch Auto 5.

I'm talking about GTA 2 in special, as GTA 1 I did play too little to know if it had it as well (I remember it did had Yakuza).
In GTA 2 each stage had 3 gangs, and each had a "friendship bar", if you get it down they hunt you, if you get it up they help you.
Kinda like Bully.

Wow, that's actually really cool :O

It would make the game boring.

I don't think it would be a good idea to make such a big change to such a popular game, i like the sound of it though, but it should be a new IP instead of changing GTA.
