What's a simulation RPG?

excited about this, japanese exclusives are almost half the reason why i like Playstation.
awesome! i love their works with Demon Gaze and Natural Doctrine.
Hopefully they'll release them on vita as well
Two more JRPG's? Sweet, hope they're coming to Vita.
(But more seriously, I could see another PS3/PS4/PSV release of this, given that they've already done it with Natural Doctrine)

I doubt it. Half of Japan's games aren't even coming to PS4 yet, they're sticking to PS3. They're not going to drop the platform outright any time soon.

Kadokawa aren't exactly small though. I mean, Natural Doctrine sold a pitiful amount of copies, but they're not a particularly small company - they're a pretty large media corporation with a videogame section.
It's something NIS or Compile Heart could afford to do, but I think medium-large sized pubs would be less likely to take the plunge. Look at Tecmo Koei - no current gen exclusives announced (all Warriors games + Bladestorm + DOA5LR coming to current gen as well). Look at Bandai - One Piece is coming to PS3/Vita as well, Sword Art Online is skipping the platform altogether (though, Tekken 7 is looking likely to be current-gen-only).
The second game sounds promising, Japanese Mythology has a lot of potential for many things.

The only dev who had to add an easy mode for a game on japanese core gamers' request. (Natural Doctrine)
No wonder they do stuff with from software.

Doubtful, when 7th-gen games are still outselling 8th-gen games in Japan on a regular basis. Publishers there are going to either be making cross-gen games or making PS3-exclusive games for some time to come.
And of course, the handheld and mobile titles.
