Nintendo fans say DLC is a shit pratice them complain about lack of DLC, check.

TLOUR is a year late port of a game on the same platform holder and sold 2M, check.

GTA V is a more than 12m old port that anyone in last gen and for a doubledip isn't much different than last gen and computer will get a better version, check. Same for tomb raider. All of them full priced, check.

Bayoneta 2 is considered a sucess on WiiU by selling less than 500k, check.

AC and Destiny sells on the 5-10M window. WD as well, check.

If game launched along other versions it would still be inferior and people would still buy in other systems if they had them. 6m later don't change that only exclusive WiiU owners would buy it on WiiU, so what is the Point of all this Ubisoft is at fault when we know it would sell the same anyway?

About the 3rd parties should cater to Nintendo fans to sell well (350k it seems) on WiiU and lose 5M on other platforms, does it even makes sense?

so wrong. you're downplaying the wii u base (350k, really?). and how exactly would developers lose their sales on other platforms (far less than 5m for 99% of the games)?

Bayonetta 2 fiasco? it's doing better than the first game.

According to VGChartz, but there is a rumor that NPD for October (aka Bayo 2 first week) has it only at 70k... here is the link for the rumor:

http://www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=242355

rumors must be treated as such. even if true, it would still be on par with bayonetta on ps3. but the wii u base is much smaller.

Basically there's three categories of Wii U software:

1.) Decent to Good Sales: 2D Mario, 3D Mario, Smash Brothers (Mario Fighting), Mario Kart are the main things that will sell on the Wii U, with some room left over for Zelda. Future home of: Mario Party 10, Mario Maker, Legend of Zelda U.

2.) Poor/Low Sales: Donkey Kong Country, Pikmin 3, Wii Fit, Sonic Colors, Rayman didn't sell great. Wii Party U got saved by being bundled in Japan for a while. Future home to: Yarn Yoshi, Captain Toad, Splatoon, Xenoblade.

3. ) Bomba Sales: Bayonetta, Call of Duty, Batman, Fatal Frame, Wonderful 101, Assassin's Creed, Need For Speed, Wii Sports Club, etc. are full-on bombs. Future home to: Devil's Third, Project: Cars (if that actually even comes out).

1. millions and millions is far above "decent to good". this category is named great to amazing sales.

2. DK and pikmin will be million sellers and are far above wii fit, sonic and rayman. this category is named decent do good sales.

3. interesting, bayonetta took one week to outsell sonic lost world, yet you put it on a lower category? anyway, the only bombs you listed are need for speed and wii sports club. this category is poor/low sales. and bayonetta 2 is in the decent to good sales category.

Am I seeing what wrong? People are claiming Bayoneta is a sucess by selling 350k (by vgc wrong numbers)  so were is the downplay? How they would lose? If they make WD game they sell like 5-10M on all non-nintendo platforms plus 100-200k on WiiU. By making a game that meets all the sucessfull criteria on WiiU selling 350k on Bayo and some better on ZombiU that se know won't end up selling much more than 2M combined (500k-1M os more likely) on the others don't seem like a loss to you? 5.1-10.2M seems more than 2.35M doesn't matter what (and if WiiU were main platform and dev would focus on gamepad and not invest on graphics we know final numbers would be quite lower.

no one is claiming 350k is a success for an exclusive, but bayonetta 2 just released and is doing better than the first game (and even DK tropical freeze).

Downplaying again. a game like watch dogs would easily sell 500k+ ltd on wii u, if released on time. so don't come with this 100-200k talk. again, how exactly would they lose sales on other platforms by releasing a multiplatform?

Haven't you read the entire thread then... Padib and some others have said how much of a sucess Bayo2 is... it is doing better than first if you count just one platform, consider VGC numbers to be correct, and the lack of competition on WiiU compared to Bayo at the time on PS3/X360.

Downplaying? How much have CoD sold on WiiU? Fifa 14? any other MP?

I repeat if they release a mp as nintendo fans demands to pander their wishes it will flop on wiiu and bomb on everything else. If you can't accept that you are more thinking about "even though there is no evidence it would do better if they done as I want".

Fifa 14 wasn't released on the WiiU...

Considering WD is 25$ on black friday for the PS4, why would I buy the WiiU version ??

Why has there never been a good 3D platformer on the Wii U that isn't made by Nintendo? Simply because the big publishers are too busy making shooters and what not. Why wouldn't a good 3D platformer sell on the Wii U AND PS4/XBONE?

Sure, Rayman Legends, a 2D platformer, flopped on all platforms, but maybe a lot of Wii U owners decided not to buy this game out of spite (6 month delay just to release it on other consoles).

Release a good quality game that fits the demographic on the Wii U, advertise it and I'm sure it would sell a decent amount. Or why not an action adventure type of game à la Zelda and Metroid, that could sell well on all platforms.

Sonic Colors was a decent (not superb) platformer and sold 2M+ (seriously undertracked on VGCHARTZ) on the Wii (where a lot of third party games also failed).

Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot etc. are the type of games that would sell well on the Wii U.
