No because i know how you think and i've seen what you're writing. i'm not interested in a wall of text. You're the same guy who said being gay is a choice. We're done!

?

So I did have a point and then you lost interest? That's the vibe I'm getting for such random change of comment right there.

And by the way, I seriously doubt you think how I think. If you had a glimpse into my mind, you'd never be the same, ever again.

Belive me, you would have me interested if you had a point. But you can tell yourself that, if it helps. You can doubt it as much as you want, your words were clear enough.

Also, where did I say being gay was a choice? This is obviosuly off-topic, but have mistaken me by someone else. Being gay is something you become, not something you are born. That's what I say.

That's what i meant. I really am done here. I've participated in derailing the topic way too much.

Yup, number 3 is pretty much the answer to that question. Platinum makes great NICHE games. So no matter how critically acclaimed they get, they can still only attract a rather small group.

:/

Alright then.

the question should be why do Videogamers not buy platinum games, its always easy to blame a product instead your selfs or the Videogame community.

Myself, I have a good opinion about them, but I have never bought any platinum games. Not a genre I like, too short (and no multi), bad port, not on my console... there always is something wrong. Being niche is the least of their problems. Really, 1 game not too short and with a good version on the leading console and I'm in.

I'm not blaming the product, I'm just trying to answer a question many people here have asked. I would have bought the game if it was on a platform I already have.

Yeah taht's why I listed it. I do buy games which are considered "short" by many gamers (like God Of War III) but there is a limit to that, and Platinum's games are sometimes too short. I might buy short games for $70, but not if they are 5 hours long with 3 hours of cutscenes taking up most of that time.

Cutscenes do not add to the overall timer in any Platinum Games' games, if I am not mistaken. If the final leaderboard says you've beaten the game in seven hours, those are seven hours without cutscenes (and without dying).
