You can tell yourself that. If their games were good enough people would've noticed.

So I'm using the same argument you gave back then to disprove yourself.

Most gamers don't like the games they make.

How do you know that?

Why are they not buying them?

Demon's Souls sold very well -> Puppeteer bombed. By your logic, people didn't buy Puppeteer because they obviously didn't like the previous game from SCE Japan.

Bayonetta sold very well -> Vanquish bombed. By your logic, people didn't buy Vanquish because they obviously didn't like the previous game from Platinum Games.

Beyonetta didn't sell "very well". It sold goid enough, but unlike Demon's Souls it left a sour taste in people's mouths with how bad it performed and looked. There is a reason Sega didn't want to make the second one.

Bayonetta sold more than Demon's Souls.

And it left such sour taste in people's mouth that Sega chose to publish another "bad game from the same company called Vanquish" and Metal Gear Rising pulled out almost two million units.

And, please. Of all the examples of game performing bad, and you try to give Demon's Souls a free pass? The game that falls to like 15 fps if you roll against two or more wooden boxes?

Still haven't given an explanation for Puppeteer bombing. You purposedly left that one out when replying to me.

Viewtiful Joe made me a Team Viewtiful/Clover/Platinum games fan.

I own 7 of the 8 games they released on Nintendo consoles,

all except Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble. (ie VJ1/2, Okami, MW, W101, Bayo1/2)

Puppeteer and Demon's Souls weren't made by the same developers.

Are you absolutely sure SCE Japan wasn't involved as a developer in both Demon's Souls and Puppeteer?

They weren't the main developers behind Demon's Souls, they just helped out From Software with the PS3 architecure like they are doing with Bloodborne.

Because Pupeteer has nothing to do with this. Not sure what that means to you?

I meant Sega didn't want to back Beyonetta 2, but you know that. Demon's Souls led to the birth of Dark Souls followed by Dark Souls 2 and now even Bloodborne. Beyonetta couldn't guarantee a sequel.

They weren't the main developers behind Demon's Souls, but they were the reason Demon's Souls was created in the first place, unless you would have prefer a new entry in King's Field. They deserve as much credit as From Software. I also used that example because I knew it would resonate with bubblegamer, but there are tons of other games I could have used.

Pupeteer had nothing to do with the team that made possible Demon's Souls?

It doesn't matter what you mean. You're straying from your main point, which is the argument of "Most gamers don't like the games they made" which was then backed up with "Why are they not buying them?".

So I replied, people bought Bayonetta. It sold more than two million units.

I also replied, people bought Demon's Souls. It sold almost two million units.

Then, people didn't buy Vanquish. Going with your logic, that's because "most gamers didn't like the game Platinum Games did" after great sales of Bayonetta.

Then, people didn't buy Puppeteer. Going with your logic, that's because "most gamers didn't like the game SCE Japan did" after great sales of Demon's Souls.

Do you see the flaw in the logic?

No pupeteer had nothing to do with Demon's Souls. One is made by Sony the other by From Software. Now i see why you're making little sense. Further discussion is pointless if you don't understand what i mean. So if you're interested you could at least try that first and then discuss further, instead of making assumption after assumption.
