They have been doing better than the last few years, but definitely not stable. Will take another year or two to see the real situation.

I have never bought a playstation or a PS Handheld in a shop and no games. I was never a Sony Gamer, but I cant see if a console goes down like sony. Sony is the little brother from nintendo. I hope sony will not goes down. It have great games like god of war, the last from us and many more. Nintendo have engough money, maybe the can help sony?! It is his big Brother :)
Maybe I will buy a PS4 in nearly future

PlayStation can live on without Sony actually. I don't know the specifics but based on what I've read, PlayStation can break off and be its own company.
As for Nintendo giving Sony money... No... But then again Nintendo pays taxes and the Japanese government could prop up Sony so in a way, Nintendo might end up giving Sony money. I think the Japanese government itself is running out of patience with Sony though but don't quote me on that.

That's precisely the big problem. Sony has always be the company japanese were the most proud of. Jap governement would never had let them sink, but now that Japan enter a blank state of economic, they do not have a single yen to spare in saving a low profile company. I fear they will concentrate their effort on the most heavy and important one. And it makes only but good sense. |
This... is not a good idea. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding you here, but low profile shouldn't be a company name that effectively everyone in the world knows.

Thread went so badly he seems to have requested a permaban for himself, maybe a mistaken request for a few days off had an accidental B in it.

Sony in general? They are losing more money every passing quarter.

They wouldn't be interested in it as a whole, Apple already has a really strong mobile devision for example. But that does make it an interesting match. Sony's weakest devision is the mobile devision and that's where most of the losses come from, while Apple makes pretty much all of their money with mobile devices. Sony also already sold their PC devision, something that Apple has aswell.
If Apple ever wants to make a run at Samsung and broaden their horizon, Sony would probably the best candidate for a hostile take over. A high quality tv with Apple tv integrated is just one of the many possibility's.
