And in relation to "recent events suggesting things will be close". Am I the only one that thinks it stupid, premature or just flat out crazy for anyone to be jumping to such a conclusion from the XB1 having just 2 or 3 good weeks in an entire year over the PS4? Like doesn't anyone see that this is just 2/3 weeks we are talking about here yet some are going on like the XB1 has sold better the whole year or suddenly covered some serious ground. Does anyone realize that if at the end of Nov. the PS4 has a global lead of 10k units over the XB1 it means the lead is still growing?

Seriously, everything is possible, and using the current data and we can interpolate prediction from the year to date to count how is the number will go up from now until the next couple years. If they keep the pace like now it's a big chance they both can achieve more the then the last generation.
