7/10 from Shack News with this highlight comment on metacritic:
"This is the most daring the series has been so far, but it's still very much cut in the cloth of Media Molecule's pre-made pattern."
Seriously? How is being cut from the same cloth as its predecessors somehow a bad thing? Esp if they have been daring. Perhaps it's a bad representation of the review over all, but bast on that sentence, even with a greater use of the 10 point system than in the past, it sounds like an 8/10 comment at least.
LBP was never a killer app kind of game, but it was nice during the PS3's time to have a top class family friendly game. If the metascore at all reflect the quality of the game it's a shame to see this series go from top class to merely classy.
And this from a 5.8/10 score: "LittleBigPlanet 3 is still a charming platformer and creative sandbox at heart, yet without the full attention of Media Molecule, it feels like it sorta lost its soul."
Charming and a bit soulless is a very hard thing to achieve. Again perhaps not a representative sentence from the review as a whole but seems out of touch with the score.
OTOH game breaking bugs on the PS4 version is not good. Anyone know what those are?
