Really? This is the first time I have been hearing about this. I mean, I heard about some Framerate dips and some bugs but those aren't very frequent at all from the reviews I heard and I never heard about the constant crashing in single player mode?

A lot of people have been complaining about crashing so I'm not sure why it didn't show up in the reviews. My game has crashed three times in Halo 2.

Hmm, cause even the gamespots review doesn't mention this and they gave it a 6 loll. If it is happening, then yea, I agree they deserve a 6 cause the Single Player should always work

Oh come on, we both know thats not the samething. With MCC, you have like 4 single player campaigns from 4 different games so at least, its not all bad. Granted online is one of the main focuses of Halo but for $60, you are getting 4 different games and all of their single player still works at 1080p 60fps so at least, you can do something while MS gets their online sorted out. If Mario's jump bearly works, then you would have a hard time getting passed the first Gomba in level 1-1. I would have given MCC at least a 7-7.5 for the single player alone considering how many games these days get higher scores for much less content.

No the single player hasn't been working that great either. Framerate issues, constant crashing, achievements not popping up, lots of problems on that end. These problems are very annoying for anyone who payed $60.

The score should be raised when the game gets fixed though.

I have had MP issues and the achievements issues but I am yet to see a game crash in single player, played about 5 or 6 hours of it so far. Quite possible they didn't come across them either.

It's Gamespot... they are super stingy with scores.

I don't know how to rate a game like this. Some of the collection is great, some is really showing it's age, so it's nice to have it all in one collection but I probably won't stomach completing the 1st two campaigns.

My 8th gen collection

Haven't taken Gamespot's reviews serious in years.

How do you even review a game like this?!

Wow, another bad score for another hyped up game by many, a trend that will continue through out the generation

"The Good
Core combat formula is engaging throughout every campaign
New Halo 2: Anniversary cutscenes are fantastic
Slick, intuitive menu organization

The Bad
Online multiplayer barely works"

Still, a 6 seems a bit low

How many points would you give a Mario game where "jumping barely works"?

1. Thread is about halo not Mario.

2. He cited gamespot points not his opinions.

3. Stop derailing thread.

But if you still don't get it...

Multiplayer is as core to the Halo franchise as is jumping to a Mario game.  I could've also said SO where grinding barely works or GoW whith barely working chain blades if that was more to your liking.

He said 6 was a bit low(in his opinion) despite the core feature of a game not working. Hence the anology.

What if I told you that the combined time of all singleplayer campaigns combined is a mere fraction of the time people spent in multiplayer. If they play the Singleplayer at all.

I stand by my analogy. Also it says "barely" so that means you will be able to jump sometimes :)

how a Game we know exactly the content of with some major enhancements can be hyped up...??? Your attempt at down playing halo MCC is failing... People are annoyed at best by the launch issues that will be fixed within days anyway but the content is exactly as expected... And I don't know about other consoles but on XBO I have yet to see any game exclusives that completely failed to meet expectation so far this Gen, and it is certainly not a trend...

Watch Dogs, AC Unity, Destiny, Metal Gear Solid V, and Titan Fall (all for XB1) all failed to meet expections for many, not saying all people thought these games were bad but many people did
