Forums - Nintendo - After Bayonetta 2's performances, what are the expectations on Devil's Third?

Too early to say...
.... I think it may end just like Wonderful 101... a very good game, ignored by players.
Anyway, WiiU needs games and they´re better put a lot of effort on this. Nintendo is paying it off, after all..

Hmm. I can't wait till developers add next gen flesh jiggle physics to every game..... I'm not expecting much from Devils Third. I really don't like the main characters design, if they didn't try so hard to be "edgy" I may have been interested. Mature != swear words and butts. Mature == context. Only have blood when its necessary, violence when its necessary, swear when its necessary, get naked when its necessary.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

35k first month NPD, Fatal Frame-ish sales in Japan. Will be a bomba, but Nintendo can afford it.

Well, this is an Itagaki's creation. That concept is essencially what also gave birth to Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden!

2 games that i really want.......... if Devils Third turns out good, i may have to get that WiiU earlier than planned.

I just hope its fun at least...

probably my most hyped game from last E3 alongside splatton and the new tom clancy's title by Ubisoft. Of course there's Zelda, Xenoblade and Metal Gear, but those are a given.

Anyway, don't know it it'll sell tons of copies (probably wont) but I'm guessing I'll play this to death. I tend to, from time to time, spend a lot of time playing online multiplayer shooters, I mean like months playing always the same game. Did it with Counterstrike and a few of it's modes, dit it with Battlefield (1942 to 2, not the garbage they pull nowadays, altough Hardline has caught my interest), did it with Bad Company 2 on PS3, and last few months I've been playing a lot CoD:BOps 2 on WiiU.
SInce this and Splatton seem to be quite a freash take on the multiplayer gaming, i'm expecting a lot from those two.
Personally the graphics didn't bother me at all (didn't understood all the backlash it had) but I',m pretty sure it was just a very early in development build of the games jyst to say "Hey I'm here and I'm exclusive to WiiU" to fulfill the needs of those who like 16+ titles (since they only had Bayo2 on that show). I'm willing to bet it'll look way better on its final build. Afterall it's Natagaki and Nintendo put together, they're both perfeccionists.

I'm not sold on it yet personally, but there's still plenty of time for improvement.

Well it would have bombed on the PS360, and I think it'll bomb on Wii U unless a miracle happens.

Who knows though, with most third party support gone, COD most notably, it'll be the only realistic multiplayer game in Nintendo's house, and the only other third person shooter besides Splatoon, so it could conceivably carve out its own special niche with no competition in sight.

It'll never be big though, but I don't think it needs to be.

Beyonetta 2 is already out?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
