Do u talk about stupidity itself, or some1 how is pointing out the stupidity of someone else?
Because the second should be allowed, too, if it's not in a way to offensive wording
That would require a ban of everyone that said Wii-U would finish in second place. And that would be a shame because those are all fun members. So the answer would be no.

That raises an interesting point. Let's take this thread: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193194&page=1# Things are so muddled in this instance that it is incredibly hard to make the call whether people are legitimately stupid or just playing dumb to troll. You will find both kinds, but where do you draw the line? |
The grey zone is just too big to accurately distinguish trolling attempts from legitimate misunderstandings, not to mention that many posts are mere overreactions that may or may not be fueled by the poster's preferences/bias. Posting history plays a part but there's still too much guesswork involved unless the trolling is that obvious.
I'd probably draw the line where posters continues to keep up an act despite clear clarifications. The wonderful "Didn't read" card is a great tool but it's a "one use only"-item and once played it becomes obvious whether the poster is playing dumb or not.
It already is, one member was permabanned early this year for making unrealistic crazy predictions.
They are good for a laugh sometimes.
Not to mention, it's a pretty abusable term. If you don't agree with a person, what stops you from reporting them for "stupidity"? It equates to censorship.
You're Gonna Carry That Weight.
