The World Ends With You.

Correct! That was probably the quickest anyone's guessed one of my games so far. I need to work on my hints.

#44 - The World Ends With You: One of the more interesting RPGs I've played, for sure. The dual-plane battling system has a heck of a learning curve, but once I got used to it, battles were fast paced and fun. Also, pins and the systems behind "being trendy" were an interesting way of boosting up your stats. Story's pretty good too. Overall, I wish Squeenix would make more RPGs like this (I actually would like a sequel to this one).

Hint for #43 - In this game, you can control two characters, switch between them, and/or put them both on screen at the same time. One is a man who wields a certain whip that he can't properly use, and the other is a gifted young witch.

#44 - An epic game with 4 heroes. Fighting aliens in their mad world.

#44 - Gears Of War. I though this one would be easy, but apparently not

#43 - Lose an arm and get a better one.

Is #43 MadWorld?

#44. Lone Survivor: Part survival horror, part pet simulation, with a wonderful dark yet warm ambience (depending on how you play), and no Mark Wahlberg in sight: what more could you want in game?

Hint for #43: Kresnik.

So #44 was indeed ZombiU. Good guess Trucks!

#43 is a little bit more "out there" as a videogame. I could provide a whole raft of hints for this one and you might not get it. I will however say that the title is a reference to the location of the game; even if the game doesn't infact involve this location explicitly.

#44: Tearaway

Imaginative, fun platformer, fantastic art style and some decent uses for all of Vita's lesser used features

#43 clue:

Don't refuse the chance to play the third in this series just because the previous two were average
