Yeah, that was great!
I enjoyed this thread very much the past two years.
I had 3 new games make my list this year that pushed out some great close to top 50 entries. Funny thing is one of the games is from 2004 I just forgot it previous times...Other 2 are from end of 2013. (New GEN)
Alright, let's get the game discussion going, here are some games who I wanted to include in my Top 50 but it turns out 50 is a really small number when you've been gaming for 25 years...
Games played in 2014, in no particular order:
Risk of Rain: Impressive rogue-like game with diverse gameplay and one of the best soundtrack ever composed for a video game. It's very hard but the wide range of power ups and characters keep you coming back for more.
DmC: Devil May Cry: Finished this game a few days ago so I don't know if it'll have a lasting effect on me but I thoroughly enjoyed the combat system, it's fluid, fun, allows for seemless weapon changes, incredibly satisfying. I also liked the story and the sexy new Dante, although sometimes the jokes were kinda lame.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze: Top-notch platforming, very challenging, playing as Diddy, Dixie and Cranky adds variety but it somehow didn't hook me as much as DKC: Returns.
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia: Really well crafted Metroidvanias that I still have to finish.
Games that had to make place for new additions to my list:
Mario Kart Wii: This entry was replaced by it's younger, better looking brother.
Portal 2: Great puzzle shooter with twice the murderous AI goodness
Rock Band: Hours of fun pretending to be good at music and singing.
Terraria: Like Minecraft but in 2D and actually fun
Devil May Cry: The original and still my favorite. Not as fluid as the original but has better bosses.
Blast Corps: Mindless fun game where you get paid to knockdown buildings thanks to a rogue nuclear vehicle
Signature goes here!
I'm a big fan of lists (seriously, I make lists for almost everything), so I didn't really have to spend a lot of time to come up with my top 50 games list, because I pretty much had it already. And the fact that I didn't play a lot of games this year made it even easier :)
Five new games made my list this year. Well, technically, it's six games, but the sixth game is an enhanced version of a game already on my list.
The five new games are from 1995, 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2014, and run on SNES, PS3, Wii, 3DS, and WiiU.
Five games were cut, and several moved around on the list. One game made a positive jump of 17 spots!

Can we use the table option to input the games? I know just writing them down is easier, but I'm asking just in case.
