Forums - Gaming - So dissapointed by PS+

I have thought almost all months for PS3 have been good and full of AAA options. Vita is good 50% of the time. PS4 has been kind of weak but they aren't going to give away AAA titles that people are still interested in. (which is everything as the console is not even a year old.)

The thing is tho, it's 5euros a month here, no matter how bad the selections have been for me as someone who buys tons of games it's always worth 5euros just to see some stuff that I would never consider picking up by myself, heck Moto GP 13 I would have never figured I would enjoy on the Vita, it's one of my 2 platinums now :D

I disagree. For one thing, it has consistently been delivering fantastic indie titles on PS4, most of them being brand new.

Beyond that, if you were expecting AAA titles to be on PS+ at launch, you're insane. AAA titles on PS+ come from the backlong, and the PS4 is too new to have a lot of those. That's why the PS3 has so many more right now.

I get six solid games per month across my PS4, Vita, and PS3.

If you want to compare, look at how much worse "Games with Gold" is on XBL... I regret that subscription. v_v

Maybe Sony doesn't feel the need to try that hard anymore since they know most people are subscribing to play online.

Or a simple less effort to make people love you if everyone loves you, tis the one downside to a company dominating the sales. I personally don't agree that psn+ is bad value or less value now but I'm just offering a reason why it could be!

Not that Plus isn't a great value. My thing is that I buy everything I want and, to be honest, I don't have time to play those games. Same with Games for Gold. Went months without downloading the "free games" and even when I did, I never play them. Just having games for the sake of having them. It would be like if your friend gave you a movie you weren't interested in watching. He might as well keep his porn.....err....I mean Oscar winning movie starring Anne Hathaway.

*raises hand as well*

I also am bummed that we're not getting PSone classics like before, especially for vita. Vita should be getting 1 psone, 1 psp and 1 vita game monthly.

The binding of Isaac alone makes this month worth it!

Excpet on my PS4 is freezes momentarily every 5 seconds, or so. Which makes it not very playable.

I am more than pleased with Dust an Elysian Tale and Rainbow Moon as recent PS+ offerings. I've not been able to take advantage of full retail games that have been put up on PS+ recently as I already own them (PSABR for example). Too bad I couldn't wait for First Light, but they deserve my moneyt for that, It's an awesome stand alone expansion game, and I want more of Fetch than of Delsin now for future games.

PS one classics would be great to cycle through, it is sad that they are no longer a feature of PS+.

Add me to the list of people who don't see any value in PS+ or games with Gold.

With my work, social life and other responsibilities, I have 5 hours of gaming per week...tops. With amazing games coming out all the time, and classic gaming available through emulation, the odds of me wanting to play games that Sony or Microsoft want to bestow on me at any given time are highly unlikely. If the free game is good, I most likely have played it already. If it isn't, I'd much rather go and re-play Robo Aleste on my Sega CD or Shenmue II.

Free games are nice, but if its not the one you want to play, its is completely pointless.

wasnt this kinda expected year 1 of the ps4 cycle though? it takes time to build up a next gen catalog,i think soon this is gonna change in a few months,at that point they'll have a good full year worth of games to pick from multi/exclusives, i wouldnt be surprised to see knack(a full game) early next year to start off and then go from there.

There is a AAA title coming to PS+ next month and standalone DLC to a AAA game the month after. Stop complaining. the console is only a year old.
