They used every ounce of power from both and yet they both perform similarly?

DEVS AT WORK.
The jar is always the same size its up to you want you do with it :)
To bad so many devs just throw rocks into the jars and call it a day.

So they use every once of power and both versions end up equal then we have PS4 power equal X1 or is he lying?

The previous interior models was like that... not the footage leaked.
Every ounce of power... in the hands of someone who doesnt know how to efficiently use it.
All in the name of "no debates", im sure.
They should have said something like that before they mentioned the parity to avoid debates quote.

Yah because using all the power and having the best tools/optimization is definitly the same thing, right?
You can use all the power with some crappy algorithms (or at least first generation ones) and still be able to achieve way better later using the same amount of power but with more optimized tools/algorithms. This is what happen with every generation.
