Simply put if you squeeze every ounce out of the PS4 and every ounce out of the X1 and you end up with graphics parity, then you didn't squeeze every ounce out of the PS4.

Depends how selectively they're applying this statement. Technically it could be true, since the CPU on both consoles is very similar and is likely maxed out in ACU. There are multiple ways they could have worked around this, and i expect the GPU in both consoles is being utilized with the efficiency of a potato gun, but it seems they decided hitting their deadline was more important than shipping a stable product.

Hopefully they use the next few months to get their engine's shit together, or this is an issue we will be seeing in multiple Ubi games.
