It would be the perfect secondry console, however its been pretty damn good as a primary console for me. Of course you get all the Nintendo goodness, but they have also been on the ball funding some other very interesting exclusives too. It deserves better sales thats for sure.

It all depends on how much you like Nintendo games. If you do, it's a great 2nd console.

If you like Nintendo exclusives then it makes a good console full stop. If you don't then no.

I'm not a platformer fan, so I'd rather have an XO as a second console. At this point, the Wii U is my least wanted console, including handhelds. About the only thing that will change my mind is an amazing Zelda.

If you like Nintendo games then a Wii U is good for you. Otherwise stay away from that hideous piece of plastic.

I have a hard time recommending it. Once they sort the drought problem and have better software output, then it should become a decent console to own. I mean, essentially having one big tittle for the half of 2014 is pretty fucked up and Nintendo should be embarrassed about that

Nintendo/Other Console or Pc was always the Best combo for the average gamer, because most of them have some nostalgia with Ninty Games. There are. Generally 5 worthy exclusives a year for the U, and that's pretty good for someone who also have an 1080p Twin.

I think so, it offers a lot of great exclusives that justifies it by far. DKC:TF, SM3DW, NSMBU (NSLU), Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8, Wind Waker HD, MH3U, Hyrule Warriors, Shovel Knight, Pikmin 3, TW101.

As well as games that haven't released yet but look attractive: Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda, Mario Maker, Captain Toad, Star Fox, SSBU, Splatoon, Yoshi's Woolly World.

And if you didn't own a Wii you can play all the great nintendo games from last gen. If you can't find anything in the list above that seems interesting, we have different opinions. But you are forgiven.

so, if NGC, wii were good second consoles for you, wii U is.
